2009 Flu Shot Clinic & Community Day |

The Clinton Sunrise Rotary Club and Dr. Ronald M. Frank are offering a Seasonal Flu Shot Clinic to benefit the Open Cupboard Food Pantry. The clinic will be held on Saturday, October 10th from 9 am to Noon at the Clinton Fire Department, Main Street, in the Town of Clinton. The clinic is open to adults and children from 6 months of age and older. Reservations are not required and a physician will be available to address any flu vaccine related questions. The cost is $20 per person. Seniors with Medicare Part B are free with a Medicare Card. In addition, selected insurance plan may be accepted without a co-pay, including Aetna PPO, Cigna, Healthnet, Horizon PPO/Direct 10 & 15, United Healthcare/Oxford. Simply present your insurance at the clinic. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Open Cupboard Food Pantry in High Bridge, NJ. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted at the Clinic. The Club, in conjunction with the Hunterdon Hispanos, will be collecting all sizes of adult and children coats, hats, gloves, heavy socks and other winter clothing, including sweaters, sweatshirts and thermal underwear, for families in need. In addition, the Town of Clinton Police Department will perform Child ID fingerprinting as well as DNA LifePrint kits. The DNA LifePrint program is a nationally recognized program meant to provide parents with a tool to collect and securely retain a sample of their child’s DNA. Once collected and properly stored, the samples have an indefinite shelf life. The kits are being provided free of charge by the Town of Clinton and the Town of Clinton Police Department’s Education Division which encompasses the Community Policing and D.A.R.E. Units. |
